”Septimiu Mureșan” Police School Cluj-Napoca Cluj-Napoca, in cooperation with the Romanian Police General Inspectorate (IGPR), organized between 14-15 of February 2023 the multiplier event “Innovative approaches in policemen training - from tutoring to further training”, within “Guiding the guide - an European approach of police internship” (TRIDENT Project), financed by Erasmus+ Program. 64 guests participated, representing public order institutions and educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs from 31 counties and Bucharest, as well as educational partners of the school from Cluj county, and Cluj-Napoca NGO’s. On the first day of the event, joined by specialized officers from the county departments of professional training within IGPR, were presented “The importance of psychological - didactical competences in professional training” and “Innovative didactical methods and tools”. The activity was an interactive one, traditional methods (demonstration, study caser or role play) and modern ones being explained and applied. The participants also viewed several police intervention scenarios, filmed by the schools’ instructors and students, created to be visualized using 3D system.
The second day, where tutors from public order system were invited to participate, as well as educational partners of the school, was dedicated to the dissemination of three of the intellectual outputs created within TRIDENT Project, in cooperation with the Hungarian and German partners (Public Order Technical School from Miskolc and Rhineland-Palatinate Police University): Project of Study Program for the qualification of internship tutor (TSP), Educational Curriculum project for TSP’s professional training; TRIDENT Educational Platform.
